Part 11: Prioritizing and Purpose: The Johnson Way
The Johnsons had a knack for time management and setting priorities. They held ‘Family Councils’ where everyone could share their tasks and work out a timetable. One notable council resulted in ‘No Dishes Day,’ where everyone used (and re-used) edible bowls.
Balancing responsibilities became a fun challenge when they turned it into a role-reversal day. Jack and Jill took on the parent roles (with supervision, of course), while Captain and Mrs. Johnson tried to navigate a day as kids. Let’s just say it was an enlightening (and hilarious) day for all.
They realized the importance of understanding value when Jack traded his brand-new gaming console for a day out with his family at a theme park. The day was filled with thrilling rides, copious amounts of cotton candy, and Uncle Bob getting stuck in a revolving door!
Discussion point: Are we prioritizing what truly matters to us?
